About

Hi, I'm Mia. I'm a designer and maker based in Oakland, California.

My mother and her friends immersed me in art and craft growing up. Making things gave me a way to direct my restless hands, and instilled a lasting love for materiality and construction.

Now, I work as an industrial designer, and spend my days creating objects that serve people and endure over time.

Current fascinations:
Houseplants, letterpress shops, production design, and tinned fish.
