Ideation
Design considerations include easy transportation, transformation, display setup, and modularity

Final Concepts

Final Concept 1
Features: Modular and custom components, pull-out shade, and a solid structure
Cons: Heavy with amount of plywood, swing-out display blocks seller, lacks transport bars

Final Concept 2
Features: Fabric to reduce weight, large swing-out display space, pull-out workspace for seller
Cons: Limited locked space, won’t protect from rain, wheels may be unable to control
Final Design
Roam and Display is a flexible selling cart that can be transported compactly and transforms for selling. It consists of the base cart, walls, and shade.

Step One: Transport
Hooks on cart pull out to hold side walls. Side walls fit snug for transport.

Step Two: Construct
The side walls attach to the base cart, and the shade attaches to the walls.

Step Three: Open Up
Panels swing out, and panel locks pull down to keep in place. Shade slides out.

Step Four: Customize
Display attachments are added to pegs and signage space is painted.
